Steps

  1. In a large bowl add flour and butter

  2. Add 1 cup sour cream

  5. Start mixing with your hands until dough forms a ball and is soft and pliable and totally incorporated then knead for couple mins or so

  6. Start rolling the dough into a log (see video)

  7. Cut dough into 6 pieces

  8. Shape into rough ball and cover with plastic wrap, refrigerate for 1 hour ROLLING OUT THE DOUGH

  9. I use a Nonstick Silicone Pastry Mat it makes your baking much easier!

  10. Roll out the first ball of dough to about 10 in circle (the Pastry Mat is so helpful into rolling the correct size)

  11. Cut the dough into 8 triangles using a Pizza Cutter

  12. Add a small amount of the Apricot Preserves to the wide edge of each triangle

  13. Start by rolling each triangle: roll dough over the Preserves, pinch the dough , keep rolling, pinch the ends then shape into a crescent (see my video)

  14. Do that with all the dough balls

  15. Place parchment paper into a large cookie sheet, add the crescents

  16. Bake at 350F for 15 min, do not overbake

  17. Cool slightly over a wire rack and dust with icing sugar
