Greek Style Tzatziki Dip

Greek style yogurt dip with herbs

Tzatziki is a delicious dip, used in cuisines of Southeast Europe and the Middle East.  My recipe is made with Greek Style full fat yogurt, not fat free! With grated drained cucumbers, garlic, salt, olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs. This is a quicker version and tastes just as good. I make it also for vegetable dip as well, and is much healthier then store bought dressings.

Ingredients

  • TZATZIKI DIP

  • 1 1/2 Cups of Greek Yogurt (Full Fat)

  • 1 Cucumber (Strained)

  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil

  • 1 Tbsp. Oregano

  • 1 Tbsp. Dill

  • 1 Tbsp. Red Wine Vinegar

  • Salt & Pepper

Steps

  1. Peel and grate cucumber and drain (I use cheesecloth or sieve)

  2. Add yogurt in a bowl

  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well

  4. Cover tightly and refrigerate

  5. Drizzle some more olive oil and serve with Pita bread
